I don't have that dilemma, yet...would love to. But, I'd start eliminating the birds and only mount bucks a certain score or higher. I don't like the clutter look/feel.

We have five bucks mounted. Wont get any more mounted unless they're bigger then what I have (unless my first bow buck is decent).

(We currently have, five buck, two coyotes, a turkey and a pheasant)

    Congrats on your successful hunts.

Great pictures and a nice problem to have. Like Fitz said, it is called a man cave. Close in the windows.

Stop mounting everything. Especially the fish.

I think big fish are great trophies to have up on the wall. But, birds not so much

Every mount that is in there is in there for a reason. I don't mount them for just because of size but for the story and the memory. For instance, the northern is my sisters. She passed away in a car accident when she was 16 so that will never come off the wall.

On a lighter note, the smallest buck to the right of the tv. I shot that buck with me fiancé standing on the one man tree stand as I was but that is a story for another thread.

I'll be moving soon and my main criteria for a new house will be high ceilings and plenty of space... I haven't even started hunting out west yet.

Some people actually kill game every year when they hunt. I say some people because until last year I was on about a 6 year buck drought LOL.

I have a 12x16 building I am turning into my area. I'll put some mounts there because it will be heated/cooled and sealed up pretty well. Not much room there but our old house is small (24x39) with low ceilings. So I can't fit many mounts in here anyway.

Nice collection man. I am with Fitz though, too many birds and plates LOL. Kidding.

I hear ya guys though. The plates will be the first to go and if I got to do it over again I would not have mounted so many turkeys or the geese.

I have 5 in my garage as well. I don't have any in the house at the moment but once I finish my basement man cave, that's where they will go.

I have a few piled up in the corner in the room that I keep my mounts in. The wall in that room I can hang them in is pretty much stacked top to bottom. The other wall has a closet and man door, the other is all window and the other is pretty much unusable as well due to the man door when it is open, a gun safe and the couch.

I quit mounting stuff period for the most part. Euro skulls are it for me really. When you die your family has to throw it all away and I can do most hunts again for the price of a mount. I can't imagine where I would put everything if I really would have mounted 2 bears, 2 antelope, a Mule Deer, 3 Blacktail Deer, a Caribou, an Elk, and half a dozen or so whitetail bucks along w several dozen turkey. I'm 24 and money is an issue as well tho. If I had enough room and money was no issue id consider mounting more animals than I do. The photos are way more important to me than the actual skulls themselves.

Not really gonna be a problem for me for a long time. I only have 3 shoulder mounts, and two euro's. But, I have vaulted ceilings that go up to 18 feet and plenty of wall space to go with it.

HAH, well the basement is unfinished and I'm finishing it so it's not usable space right now anyway. Besides, I'm the king of my castle (Shhh - don't repeat that). I actually don't prefer mounts in the living room/family room, it wouldn't match the...uhh, did I just turn :dan: ?
