I love to hunt and fish, but sometimes I like to get out in the woods and just relax. My favorite thing to do when I'm not hunting is to go backpacking. Here are a few pictures of my camp setup (I also use this setup when I'm hunting in Colorado for a week). Hammocks are IMHO the most comfortable and convenient way to camp. I absolutely love it!

I enjoy canoeing and camping. I also enjoy working the land and putting in food plots.

I've come real close to getting a hammock, but I am usually camping w. my wife and daughter and feel I should sleep in the same tent they do to help them feel "safe" :)

I love to go hiking/camping and traveling to see different areas of the country as well.

When I'm not hunting or fishing I'm asking my wife if I can go hunting or fishing.

I can relate to this. If I'm not doing what I enjoy doing and there is nothing going on at home I do as much house work as I can. Then I ask!!! hahaha

Sweet, what kind of rig are you going to get? If your going used, don't get one that is too new, it will cost you gas mileage!! One of my clients owns his own rigs and will not buy anything newer than an 06 because of this. He has however started to realize that the amount of money he spends on repairs and the cost of not having the truck "in service" may be outweighing his gas savings. So maybe you can forget my previous statement about a new rig!!!

    PS Drive safe!!!

I cant say for big trucks but as far as my school busses go, the newer they are the more problems they have. Too many computer problems and wiring problems. My 2009 has been on the hook 5 times where as my 01 has never broken down and runs great.

I'm either fishing or mountain biking when I'm not hunting. I took up MNTB a few years ago and it's a blast!

For the last year and a half, if I'm not hunting or working, I've spent my time in the woods. Getting fire wood, clearing food plots, planting food plots and scouting. I'm always thinking about deer and turkeys. Oh yeah, trail cams year round also.

usually mountain biking or fishing. I'm in a local club and we have a few bass tournaments during deer season.

In reality I am either at work, school, a combination of the two, or studying for one of the two.

In my mind, I am out doing wonderful things such as hiking, traveling the country, and even (gasp) bowhunting.

I wrangle chickens. Fight with weeds and bugs in a good sized garden. Shoot fish in the face. I also do a lot of archery related volunteer stuff for kids.
