Just curious what folks do while sitting in a tree stand for 6-8 hours on a saturday. I imagine in this day and age most people pull out a smart phone but I'm curious

That was my first thought as well when I'm out by myself

Good Book, Bible, go through your trail camera pictures, nap, learn a new language, nap, text others on stand, check on the forum, nap, or you could just take a nap. Just make sure your harness is tight.

Somewhere in the woods, though, that position may
I personally look for deer. If there aren't any deer I take a nap. I have a tendency to wake up when a deer is in front of me.

I play on my phone and sometimes read books. I have three portable battery packs so that I can recharge or at least, maintain battery from the stand on my phone. I prefer the phone route because it's a lot easier to pack in and out than my books (I still prefer paper books).
