    Seriously.

You have the National Guard knocking on your door with a mandate to seize all your firearms. They have been granted the right to search your entire property and seize any firearm. Owning a firearm is now a felony.

    What do you do?

The guns will be gone long before they get there.

I don't know what I would do but I think the government would be in for a war if they were to attempt to disarm all american citizens. Think about how many people there are with guns in this country...many of whome would not give them up easily

I agree............but with Illinois FOID and gun registration I would think you would have to account for all firearms registered to you . (?) Likely have to provide names and FOID number to anyone you claim you sold guns to.
Thats why I firmly believe you should own some guns untraceable to you.

I think so to. Also think they would be hauling a lot of people off to jail or the Obama concentration camps some claim are being set up........

    now there is a thought......

And I second what Bruce said.....and I would not be part of any governmental group that was charged with taking those guns away or enforcing the new gun laws. I would quit.

The handguns they would get because they are all listed on my permit and you can't claim to have sold privately without them already knowing. As for any other guns.......good luck finding them as I already sold them all privately.

No Canada for me. If anything we take a stand right here, and hope the military sides with the constitution they are sworn to up hold and protect....that mean we have to worry about a police action....

On another note to the same music...My wife family with very few exceptions all the men are or were Marines at one point or another, some for a tour or two and some longer. They are for the most part at consensuses that MOST of the prosecutions of Marines in cases over the last decade are specifically aimed at breaking the moral of the Corp. I asked to what end? Their answer was they believed that some factions of our government worry that "when the time comes" they can not count on the Marines to side with government over its citizens....Honestly I was kind of shocked. I mentioned it to two guys I know that were Marines and they werent shocked at all by what i said, in fact the echoed it and agreed.

We are not getting to this point anytime soon, highly unlikely in our lifetime and perhaps never.
