I'm a supply chain coordinator (think production planner with "extra" duties) for a world wide piston supplier. The job can be very challenging at times. I do enjoy the work and the people I work directly with-up the food chain? Not so much at times.

I currently have 5 weeks vacation and we do get some sick time. We also have some flexability in our daily work time-as long as we met the minimum weekly hours-40. At times, the hours can be much longer and work comes home with me. This is my first year back in bow hunting in a long time so I am avoiding "homework" and long hours at all costs.

Im a railroad engineer. Long hours, all hours, on call 24/7. I spend more time in hotels than I do at home. But the pay is good and I enjoy it.

I'm a 'statie' for the great state of Ohio. I'm lucky enough to work 8a-4p M-F. I get about 6-8 weeks PTO per year between vaca & comp, but rarely go beyond 3-4 weeks. "Living the dream" would be an understatement :woot:

Heard of it, but never spent any time there. I mainly deal with American Coal, Arch Coal, Lively Grove, and a couple of the Cline mines up north. Selling safety equipment to a few and delivering fire suppression parts.

I'm MSHA certified, but never been underground.

I am a Postmaster for the USPS. Currently running an office 6 miles from my house. I get 5 weeks and a day a year vacation and 12 sick days (which I have not used one in several years)

Agreed! I definitely asked for it, but couldn't resist the opportunity.

None of your business, but may discuss it across the fire at my camp.
