LOL... you never know who's behind the user name on these computers.... :D It IS funny you say that though... before I landed my current position four years ago, I was actively trying to get into Pharma (thank GOD I didn't... ) I had already been told I'd come through the interview process and landed my new position I have now, but was waiting on the offer. I had one last pharma interview already scheduled, and for grins I went on it anyway just to see what would happen... All the interviews are done at hotels, usually inside the front lobby or a meeting room off to the side... I showed up 15 minutes early, just as a SMOKING hot blonde got up from an appointment with a gentleman in a suit and tie on the other side of the lobby. I watched her walk to the front desk and drop off a "Thank you" note to be delivered to the manager's room later on, and then that manager motioned me over. Honest to God, I walked over, shook his hand, motioned with my head back in her direction, smiled ... and said "There's absolutely NO reason to do a real interview with me at this point, is there?" :D He laughed and we had a good talk... but nothing about the job I'd driven up to interview for.
I'm the MIS Administrator for a local Grain Auger Manufacturer of about 240 employees. But I also oversee a related Engineering Company near Omaha Nebraska, that's a little smaller. It's an enjoyable job... definately the best i've ever had. I'm real lucky to find an IT job in such a rural area, that's just 9 miles from the house. On the side, Rut Junkie & Vintage Whitetail Apparel keep me fairly busy, especially at certain times of the year. And I'm starting to get into doing Graphic Design work for various companies. Raising my 5 month daughter and renovating our old farmstead, takes more of my time than anything though!
Im a full time student too, majoring in food science. Hopefully me and my old man are going to start a business geared towards hunting food safety when I graduate. Like guides to safely dress game and how to properly store it before and after processing.
I always think of the Seinfeld episode for that. What was the name of the pasta/noodle? "Million to one shot doc... million to one." Also the episode of the "A$$ Man."
