Here's my best buddy, Carver. And here he is with a couple of his buddies (Rusty the Vizla and Asher the GSP).
Gorgeous best friends everyone! PT I'm kinda partial to the name Remington aswell. Haha. I think that name will suit him well. I've already decided that will be my next dogs name. This is my old girl. Abbie. She's a 12 year old mut I got from the humane society when she was 9 weeks old. She's never been hunting or anything with me but we've spent lots of time hiking, camping and swimming in ponds and lakes. She loves the woods. More so when she was younger. Haha.
I dont have one on my phone, but had a Chocolate lab Maverick, he was shot last spring, he was 10. Im back in the market for another lab.
Here's a couple pics of my female yellow lab Milo. Yes, I realize Milo is a male name, but it was the only one that my wife and I agreed on. She didn't really find the shed at her feet in the picture. I saw it and tried to get her to find it on her own. I gave up and dragged her over to it to show her.
Super cute for sure buddy! Dont have a picture on here of my Giant Schnauzer. She came with the girlfriend, wasnt to sure about her at first but I love her to death. Goofiest dog I ever met. Congrats on the new family member.
Yes, neighbor called and found him. I went and got him to bury before kids could see, i assumed he just died as he was 10. When i was putting him in the hole i noticed a gun shot hole looked like a .22 in his side, gut shot. Pretty ****ty.
That's what I was wondering..... On a side note, has your GSP always liked the water? I can't get my dog to go more than chest deep into the water, even if I'm out in it too.
My lab is a natural swimmer, so the GSP has been following him in since day 1. Hes a luttle awkward in the water...but can swim pretty good Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
Here's my dog Sandy. She was a lab and golden retriever mix. She was attacked by our neighbor's boxer about a week and a half ago and we had to put her to sleep. She was pushing 16 years old, and definitely one hell of a dog. I'll be getting another dog here within the next year or so. I'm leaning toward either another lab or a german shepherd.
I'm so sorry. My dog and I are really close and I would be devastated if he died. What's happening to the neighbors dog? Hope you find a new buddyif you're looking for a hunting dog hounds are good, loyal, fun dogs.
I don't think anything is going to happen to the neighbor's dog. I live in a really small town (250 ppl), and they opted out of a contract with our county animal patrol so they are powerless. The sheriff's department came and talked to the neighbors and said they would do whatever they could to see that something happens but I don't foresee much happening. It's a crappy situation and our neighbors are garbage and haven't even said anything to us. It's extremely difficult to have self restraint and not pursue some kind of vigilante justice. If I would have been the one that found her I would have completely flipped so luckily it was my dad. You can tell she would have some age to her because I'm 24 now haha.
Some awesome looking dogs, guys! that is horrible! Talk about a heart break Cole, that is weird ... I have never known a bird dog not to love the water .... here is my Vizsla and my Son in law's GAP... they swim for hours :D Horrible...I would have a hard time controlling myself If I were single..... him and I could clean up :D
