what do i do

    this past week iv been turkey hunting and they havnt been making alot of noise... the will gobble when they come off the rost then they stop., what should i do?

    Pattern them?

    They are more than likely henned up, no? In that case, I've always found it best to just shut up, and go to where they are going, and wait.

    Yeah probably henned up, set up where they have been going and wait them out. Good luck!

    Yup, what they said.. AMBUSH!

    I'm gonna be trying to do this in Indiana this weekend. I'm having the same problem with those birds right now.
    Gobble like crazy on the roost, then shut up after fly down. I think I'm gonna have to ninja sneak around to the other side of where they roost and get in close. At very least hopefully I'll see where they're heading after fly down.

    Shoot them off the roost. If that doesn't work, buy a butterball at Kroger and tell everybody that you tagged out on opening day.
