I got her the ignite. It was recommended since its a beginners bow and its draw weight goes all the way down to 15 lbs and up to 70 I think, and also pretty light mass too. She's pretty small for 10 years old so it seemed a good choice.

I got a water softner! Home ownership makes these simple things awesome. My Dad is coming to install it tomorrow.

I also got a tree stand and heated socks (plus some little odd and end things).

Just before Christmas, the oldest daughter went to hospital to get a yearly Xray done and then about 5 days later she got a letter saying they need her back because they saw something that just didn't seem right. Well of course the daughter is freaking out because her Aunt just had surgery for Breast cancer about 3 weeks prior. So the day after Christmas the daughter and the wife went back for another Xray and an Ultrasound. They never did the Utrasound since they found out right away after the xray that there was NOTHING there, the first one must have been a fluke or the way the skin was folded over.
That has to be one of the best Xmas presents all of us ever got, a clean bill of health !!!

New apex sights, and new winners choice strings, new rod and reel, clothes, and a case of the gout.... Seriously sucks. The meds the doc gave me help but after 3 days with it I'm still hobbling around. Hopefully it clears up because I have a few hunts planned for New Years.

I got the joy of watching my kids tear open pretty much all the gifts they wanted. My wife and I decided to put all our limited extra money into them instead of each other, we're happy with the choice we made.
