Set up a cam for video mode for the first time last weekend. Will be checking it Saturday to make sure I've got everything set up right.

Will be looking for 2 stand sites as well.

Made a food plot. Only used a rake and pruners. Man did it suck, especially when you do most of the work and it's not your plot and the person that's supposed to be doing most of the work is off cutting small trees that he shouldn't be cutting. I did like 90% of the work. I'm expecting some real help when I ask even though he probably won't. I feel as though I should put this in the rant thread.

Shot 40 arrows. Set up half dozen cams. Walked some of my woods checking out some stands. Went to Bass Pro... for no apparent reason other to look around at how much money i've spent over the years there.

Trimmed these lanes for the wife and my double set up. It's setting back about 5 yards off of our bean fields.

Off to go check on 1 more stand and 2 more potential stand locations.

I went to both properties and checked trail cams. I finished trimming the shooting lanes at Property #2. I replaced the Red40 at Property #1 with an Illuminator.

I got these guys showing up at Property #1.

I went to a property where I got good pics of bucks last year. Never got a chance to hunt it for several reasons. Want to learn it better so I put 3 cams out today. I'll go check them in a month or so.

Shot a bunch. Checked a cam I have set to video mode on a bean field. Beans are already over knee high in central MN.

Been running cams 3 years and have never tried video mode until last week. Checked the cam today and had a very nice surprise for my first ever video. Ill upload tomorrow.

Added a kisser button back to my bow. I keep trying without one, but I just like having that extra point of reference. For me it works.

Yesterday, I went down to my new Property in Iowa. My uncle in-law has some property down there that I get to bow hunt this fall. I guess getting married has more perks then I thought! :woot: We planted some small hickory plots and hung three stands.

I put one trail camera out on my MN property and when I was leaving I caught a monster buck grazing in the beans. Hopefully I'll get some picture of him!

I also planned a hunt to ND for early season velvet bucks. They means I'll be hunt in three states. Which brings me closer to my dream of hunting multiple states for multiple species. I'm pretty excited.
