Not been able to do anything yet, Got a major home remodel going on and it is taking most of my free time. Hope to have done so doesn't impede hunting season.

No running last night, but shot a little tonight. A couple at 70 and one at 20 on the way back to the house.

Tuned my bow for broadheads out 60 yds, hit the gym, and watched American Sniper.

Shot both bows today. 20-30 arrows. Nice day to shoot since the weather was cooler.

Planted switchgrass by digging 12" sod plugs out and planting in the holes. Don't have access to a tiller right now. Hard work and slow going but hopefully it will be worth it. Also put the trailcam over a pile of carp(the by products of my bowfishing addiction) to see if there are any 'yotes around that I could try to stick an arrow in.

I did this today. My Dad shot this in 1983 the year I was born. Been hanging onto it for whatever reason. He had is originally screwed to a board. I made some improvements. :tu:

Got home from work this morning at 7 and went for a 4 mile run and went right into shooting. I can only hope my form is that bad because I was breathing so heavy otherwise I got to square up my shoulders and not lean back so much.

Spent most of the day yesterday building a goose hunting blind but I did do some scouting on foot and by truck and pulled some weeds in my food plot.

Over the weekend, I introduced my brother to shooting a bow. We started at five yards and worked our way into shooting off my deck from 20 yards. The yard slopes and the deck is high; at 20 yards it is like shooting from a tree stand. He ended up shooting dinner plate-sized groups from an elevated 20 yards with my old bow. The draw length was a couple inches short for him. He has gone from thinking about buying a bow to definitely going to buy a bow. I made bowhunting convert.
