The real winner right there :tu:

I think some people forget that Christmas is about giving . Me and the wife exchanged small gifts as usual but also done the same as you .

My wife's friend/ex coworker had gotten guardianship of her 2 grandkids then her cancer came back and she had to quit working . We made sure they had a great Christmas .

I'm spoiled rotten by my wife, who absolutely LOVES Christmas. Besides spoiling our 2 adult kids, and our 2 grandchildren, she always manages to take good care of me at Christmas. (I do the same for her, because I know what's usually coming on my end!)

This year, between her and my kids, I was given a LEM Meat Grinder and LEM Sausage Stuffer. Also got a good sized cutting board, and to top that off, a Bradley Digital Smoker and the cold smoke kit to go with it. I'm ready to make deer sausage and salami now!

Well my favorite gift received was my grandpa coming down for dinner. He didn't make it to thanksgiving. He's getting old and weak and he knows it. Great man and mentor.
Moms meatloaf was great. I'm home now getting hungry again about to head over there again for seconds. It's nice to be close to family... Most of the time.
I wasn't expecting anything at all. At 28 Christmas isn't about the toys anymore but...
Parents hooked me up with a carhart jacket
And carhart shorts. Stoked. Then they added $200 double stoked. So I went on the computer and ordered a kelty 90 liter backpack and rain cover. Super stoked.
Now I can give dad his pack back and we can go on our spring backpacking trip now that his knee has healed.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a belly full of something as good as my moms meatloaf. I'm going back.

Well just got home from christmas with the in-laws. I am officially spoiled, came out with a watson air lock bottomless 26 bag in lost camo, a canon vixia hf r42 camera with an extra battery/charger, a gorilla pod, 32gb sd card, screen protectors, and a small bag for the cam. Also got a redwings shirt and socks, and a jersey that did not come in in time. Got a redwings jacket from my brother in law, and a $50 gift card to farm and home. My other brother in law got me a beer glass with the redwings symbol emblazoned on it and a coaster with the winged wheel. I think that is everything. Got the camera and all set up, it will be going to the tree with me tomorrow to test out the cam and arm I got. Will upload any videos I take with it sometime this weekend. Merry Christmas everyone, hope it was good to you all and every one got to spend time with their loved ones.

Only hunting related item was a Scent Blocker waterproof/insulated jacket. I needed a jacket for rain & colder weather, I didn't really care about scent proof but it's pretty nice. It's this one:
