    Post 2..

Shot a doe last night 12 yards broadside I was 16 feet up grunted her to a stop and released couldn't tell where I hit with the light but was pretty sure I smoked her. She ran off I grunted again to get her to stop and she did and kept twitching her tail like nuts and walked off. I was like okay she's gonna bleed out.. Have her 45 climbe down and found my arrow with a tiny bit of meat, fat and hair nothing on the vanes or last 6 inches of arrow. Gave her another 2-3 hours and came in at dark grid searched the whole area and not a single drop of blood.. What did I hit..?

Well you didn't smoke her this much is obvious. Doesn't sound like a kill shot to me. Light shouldn't be an issue either you have the shot or you do not.

Any hair at the point of impact? If you just grazed her low at a steep angle you should have some long white hair, although usually a low hit starts with lots of blood then clots and nothing. Any smell on the arrow?

Light wasn't an issue what so ever I was just pointing out I couldn't tell where the arrow hit.. The arrow smelled like your hands after you butcher a deer.. No hair on the ground, just the arrow

Like was said, low shot or brisket probably. I just helped a buddy track a doe that he was unsure of. We found alot of white hair at the shot, found no blood for 20 yards, then found heavy, but clotty blood, then it dried up to small drops after a couple hours of tracking.

I'm about to switch to them I thought that after the shot I was like wow I need them.. Is it possible I hit high I could have sworn I saw a bunch it tufted up hair in the boiler room and I know I didn't shoot low judging on where the arrow was.. Can I have hit just below the spine and right of the shoulder somewhere
