What could be wrong with my shooting?

    Try opening your stance. I've only hit my wrist a few times and I'm shooting with a 6" brace height.
    Also, I started shooting with one eye rather than two.

    With not having your string touch your face any more you are changing how you have to line your peep up with the sight. This alone could be casuing your problem. My peep is a little too small for me and i can't get my whole sight lined up inside of it. I can tell by if my shot is low or high wither or not my sight and peep were lined up right.

    adjust your sight back to where it was and go back to your previous form and try, if you are dead on great if not then have it looked at.

    As for the open grip, i highly suggest it. being a new shooter reading about how it helps prevent torque gave me a reason to try it. It helped and thanks to it i have more confidence in my shooting ability.
