I found a climber that was slightly burnt. Would like to get replacement parts. uploadfromtaptalk1390143480400.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1390143499037.jpg

Looks like a summit, but I would not use it if was burnt. You have no clue how much the fire affected the structural integrity of the stand.

I'm not sure who makes that stand, BUT I WOULD NOT USE IT!!!!! I'm sure the integrity has been compromised!!! Buy a new stand, your life is worth it!!!!

summit... looks like the viper ...

without knowing what temp it was at or for how long... the aluminum could be "over-hardened" and could possibly produce fatigue cracks as it flexes... or it could have "softened" the aluminum so that with any stress from climbing, it may bend it or flex more than what it was ment to flex... at any rate add it to the aluminum can pile and recycle it ...

Well then. I guess scrapping it goes. Was hoping to use as backup to my treewalker. Oh well. Thanks for the quick response.

    It's a Summit that looks like it's been in a fire. I don't think I'd use it.
