What can you do with old arrows??

    local archery club here has "intro to archery" every Tuesday thru out the summer months to help kids get into the sport... they are always looking for arrows as the kids, even with the low poundage bows are really hard on them... check some of the clubs in your area.. they maybe could use them for the same thing...

    I fletch them in all green, all white & all orange (I have a bunch of old feathers/vanes). I use them as yardage markers for my stands at 20(gr), 30(wh) & 40(or) yards. I use green for the closest since it is easiest to see (especially at dusk) and the orange for the farthest I would shoot at a deer (40). I also cut some to 12" long, installed an insert & field point to use for turkey hunting. They fit in my blind bag easily. They even fit in a decoy, next to the stake in my vest if I am on the move. Even the bent ones work.
