Im a cuddeback fan boy now. This camera has the 4 things i desire in a cam:

    Flash
    Quick Trigger
    Picture Quality
    Battery Life

Its also the easiest camera to setup, EVER. Downside is that it doesnt have burst mode, or videos. The burst mode would make it PERFECT, the videos i dont care for anyways.

    Hope this helps.

I agree - Capture Flash is good. Moultrie I-40 is another good choice in my opinion.

I currently have three I-40 Moultries and I have 0 complaints about them. The reason I went with them over the Capture was that at the time I bought them the Capture was having battery life issues. Now I believe they have that corrected so next year Im going to give them a try. Either way you cant go wrong IMO.

Capture Flash all the way, great battery life, awesome shutter speed and great picture quality. You won't be disappointed.

In order of which ones I like the most.

    1. Cudde Capture Flash - great trigger speed, photo quality, and battery life. Easy to use, easy to setup, easy to access SD crd.
    2. ScoutGuard SG550 - great battery life, ultra small size, infrared. Seems to have a slower trigger speed than my Cudde, and not that great in low light conditions. Lots of dark/blurry photos.
    3. Moultrie I40 - great battery life, great daytime color photos, great IR flash range. Trigger speed sucks, gets a lot of false triggers, and the SD card is a pain to access.

If money wasn't a factor I'd get a Reconyx. Todd G has a bunch of them and they're incredible. Battery life, trigger speed, and photo quality are unparalleled. Too bad they cost an arm and a leg.

Check out the reviews done by chasingame.com and you will get the answers you want and they will keep you from making a mistake. An example is that I have a 2007 Moultrie I-40 and it works great, but the 2008's had Terrible trigger times so I didn't buy one as planned. I found this out from chasingame.com

Personally I would not get a white flash camera. They take real nice pictures, but the bright flash scare's many deer. Especially Mature animals on pressured grounds. The glowing IR's can also spook them, but not nearly as much. Especially if you keep it on picture instead of video.

From everything i have heard and experienced Justin, this is the absolute truth.

The only way to improve on it would be homebrews.

You could build yourself a Homebrew for +-$200 depending how handy you are and if you find a good deal on the actual camera it could be less. Do some research it isn't that hard.
