I'll give the honest scoop for ya Ben. They WILL be remembered as the toughest head you will EVER shoot.. seriously.. they can blow through shoulders like no other head can. I once shot nearly all the way through a fire-proof steel door.:d I had to replace it.. hence the quick smile turning upside down. BUT... And this is where it goes down hill. Some very poor blood trails because of its compact design.. but man.. you're groups will be TIGHT.. which is good cause you need that.. other than 1 deer.. I never had another go more than 70 yards with this head blowing through it.. because where you aim.. it hits.. and keeps going. Blood trails just suck. And I did forget Mr. Graf.. he still shoots them too I believe.. so there's another. Yeah!
I believe I am going to drop my current set-up and go with Rage Broadheads this year! I have always been against mechanicals but figure my year cant be any worse then last year! I like the design of the Bloodrunner, but believe I will let some others try it out before I try it out. It seems like it could have its WEAK points?? I may also try out some sort of COC head if I can find one to fly true!
I've got a buddy who swears by Rocket Steelhead Expandables for the same reason, just plain toughness and ability to smash through shoulders. I plan on doing some playing. Thanks for the honest assessment.
