    You've changed broadheads again????????

You say you prefer to hunt rather than wait for your animals. I guess that's why you have all those stands in the woods? Face it, you plot and wait.

It's just that 5 days ago you said you were using 2 different broadheads, leaving the Rage behind. Now we have another. LOL Face it, you're experimenting. LOL Most all of them work. I don't have to ask questions about your hunting. You've told us over and over. :d

I'll probably be using Rage 2-Blades and I think I'm going to try out the Slick Trick Mags too this year.

Wanna know what I find so interesting about this thread..

So many of us all 'claim' we are unaffected by what the pro's shoot or what commercials we watch when it comes to our hunting gear..

    But then...

Like everyone over the last 3 pages shoots either Muzzy.. Rage or G5... which are like the MOST pushed heads on the market today.. with exception to Muzzy.. who have been pushed by the pro's for many years. Interesting to me. Nothing more.

I shoot NAP Nitrons.. probably just me and some other guy in Georgia who shoots those.

Which ones Jeff? Glue Ons, Screw Ons? The reason I asked Is they don't make a 185 grain Snuffer which I'm gathering your adding weight to whatever Snuffer your using. Just curious Is all as I like hearing the different combo's people use with these Snuffers.

    Good luck with them!!!

Never heard of em. (NAP Nitrons) Interesting Duke. Looks like it's well made. Thanks. It may just be you, the guy in Georgia, and a knucklehead in PA.

Yes your right, my bad (head up ass)!! I know their website says they do and back In the day allot of people used them but everywhere I've looked and asked I've only found the 160 grain glue ons as their heaviest BH. Where did you buy these 185 grain screw ons?

Awesome Jeff!!! Have you tried sharpening these big things yet? I did some this spring, It took a while compared to the smaller 125 grain ones. Can't wait to see the pics (hopefully) of some deer and bear kills with these big snuffers!!! I know I'm excited big time on using these big Snuffers for the 1st time this fall.

I am going to shoot Rage because of the outrageous deal I can get on them, and G5 because I was given some to test, loved them, then bought more.

But I am guilty of shooting one of the most pushed products in the industry, by coincidence though.

to follow up tembry's post, I decided to try the G5 broadheads on a whim simply because I was going to the shop to buy slicktricks and they didn't have any and I needed them that day for my hunt in AL... I may pass them off to my son so he can go after turkey this spring... but i'll stick with 'em thru this season cuz I've already paid for 'em... I need to at least get a shot off with 'em!!! :D

Hey.. I understand completely.. am not even thinking about judging what anyone does.

I just found it interesting.. and obviously the marketing DOES work.

Incidentally.. I shot G5 Montecs for 2 years.. wouldn't go back to them for anything.. thought they were the worst heads I ever shot. But damn.. that emblem sure looks cool.. doesn't it? I can't get through a 30 minute program without seeing that big blue G5.

But in my opinion.. G5 blows.. compared with so many other heads out there.
