What broadheads to get?

    As said any quality fixed head will do. Muzzys worked well for me when I shot fixed heads. Just be sure to tune your bow.

    I started hunting with a compound when I was 12 and was only pulling back 40lbs. I killed two deer with muzzy broadheads. One deer ran 80 yards and I forgot to stop the other one and ended up breaking her back leg and severing her artery. She fell right there and I got another arrow in her to finish the job. I don't shoot muzzys now but will always trust one.

    For your setup I would check out the Slick Trick Standards or the Slick Trick Vipertricks. I haven't used each but I've read nothing but good things about them.

    recommend a small, sharp, fixed blade. many good ones have been mentioned. A smaller head will give you better penetration when using low poundage. good hunting.
