I will only use DirtNap Gear's DRT Broad heads on anything I hunt. They do offer a small game/ bird collar that works great for turkeys. Check them out here: Dirtnapgear.com

I use Muzzy 3 blade 100 gr. Same heads I use for deer. I have killed a bunch of turkeys with them and have never lost one. Shot placement is incredibly important and much lower and further back than most guys would expect. I like hitting them through the hips on a broadside shot. It drops them on the spot. If you are a little high, you still get spine and a little low takes out the legs, a little forward is still right in the goodies.

The problem with the dead ringers is they fly with the cutting diameter of your average fixed blade give or take, as far as head shots are concerned, if you can hit them with a 1.5" cut, it wont matter if they open up. body shots, opening up to 5" though could be a whole different story.

Within 20 yards I send a Bullhead there way and any distance past that I send a Hypodermic to do the job.

For the past two years I've used Slick Trick Razor Tricks... this year I'm wackin' 'em with a Magnus Bullhead (under 20 yards). Over 20... it's the Razor Trick again.

Had one get away last year after taking a razor sharp Montec G5 right through the boiler room. This year I'm shooting the NAP Gobbler Getter. I've heard great things about the knock-down power they have, looking forward to season 2 here in WI.

Got me some Grim Reaper Hybrids for whitetail last year and used one a LOT for broadhead tuning my bow. It's still very functional, dulled down a bit from it's original factory edge but still sharp enough. If I get multiple shot opportunities I have a couple Rage turkey heads (2 1/4") and a couple classic Rage (2") ready to fly.
