Curious what everyone hunted elk & Deer with this past season? Personally I love shooting different heads now & then, I shot the Viper Trick this year for the first time, of course they were new for 2012. (grin) They are an excellent head & razor sharp out of the package. Thanks.

100 grain standard slick tricks. I might give a try at the Viper Tricks this year.

Rage 3 blade chisel tip. Picked up a pack of killzones in the middle of the season. Love them!

Wow, quite the selection there. I can say I've never hunted with any of the ones mentioned so far with exception to the magnus buzzcut. Looks like I need to widen my search. (grin) Only problem is I don't know what I'm looking for. Just like trying different heads. Thanks everyone.

i didnt personally use them, but my buddy used rage 2blade heads and the muzzy traditional style 4blade head. he said his dad had a rage not open up on the biggest buck he ever shot, he was very disappointed because he had had 3 good kills with them before. and my friend used the muzzy 4 blade and took a good sized buck. he was really happy to watch him drop 21 yards away ! hes really bumed about his dads buck tho, he feels bad that theres an amazing/beautiful monster out there suffering before death because of the rage not opening. he had used them before with clean quick kills, why this one malfunctioned boggles them

Have used SlickTrick the last 4 seasons, great heads. I may switch to a unvented VPA Terminator or Shuttle T Terminal T Lock for next year. I like a heavy, solid, fixed head for elk.

125 grain shuttle t locks for this year. May give the killzones a try next season with some insert weights, unless of course they just put out a 125 grain head.

100 grain Muzzy Mx-4's... Shot a big 140 class 8pt with them and very bad blood trail and never did find the deer. I could have cried lol. So i am definitely changing this year... I am thinking about killzones or spitfires..
