I'm looking into getting a new bow but have no clue which one i should get. I'm looking for one in the $300-400 range and has a lot of good reviews. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Short answer: the one that fits you best and that you like to shoot the most.

The only way to determine that is to get to as many shops as possible and shoot everything you can get your hands on. It's like trying on hiking boots; what works for and fits one person may not work for you.

I could not agree more. I personally believe that shooting several bows and then dreaming of then all and trying to make a decission is the best time in a new purchase. It gives you a chance to see what you like and what you don't. Good luck and enjoy the research periods.

i shoot the bear charge, umm 399.99 ready to shoot you cant beat it, i have killed lots of little critters and a deer with it and its a hot bow, my buddy has the PSE stinger, and its a nice bow to its the same price but he has had a lot of string and cam problems, with it like the string always twisted off the cam when drawing

Bear makes a great bow. You may be able to find a PSE Brute in your price range as well.......

Is your price range for RTS bows or for bare bows?

Martin makes some good stuff as well, but get what feels right to you. Don't let price or reviews sway you too much.
