The laws of human nature by Robert Greene Great book, I really enjoy his style of writing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Book called 2034 From two former military officers and award-winning authors, a chillingly authentic geopolitical thriller that imagines a naval clash between the US and China in the South China Sea in 2034—and the path from there to a nightmarish global conflagration Sent from my Lone Wolf treestand using Bowhunting.com Forums
American Prometheus the triumph and tragedy of J Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and Martin Sherwin one was of the better ones I read since I last checked in. I just finished listening to the anxious generation by Jonathan Haidt also good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My Lost Brothers by Brendan McDonough. I thought about being a smokejumper when I was a young man so I found this book about these hotshots really good. Never Quit by Jimmy Settle. I didn’t know much about the PJ’s. I learned a bunch and was entertained. Leonardo Di Vinci by Walter Isaacson Learned a bunch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Meat eater by Steven Rinella Really good, not sure why it took me so long to finally read this one. The wealth money can’t buy by Robin Sharma. Good, nothing ground breaking but a good reminder. I listened to Legacy by James Kerr Pretty good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The Reaper by Nicholas Irving and Gary Brozak. Quick easy read, really enjoyed it. Listened to Drive by Daniel Pink. Some interesting insight from the science of motivation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So I am a book guy not a tablet guy, I don't keep books after I read them unless they are reference. I tried to give a recent book I read away at work. I asked people do you read books, everyone said no. The "adults" that I asked that play video games were incredulous when I mentioned reading a book.
I like paper but I enjoy reading whenever I can so having books on my phone is great for me. I usually buy a few paperback/hardcover books a year and will give them to my daughter after I read them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lions of Kandahar by Rusty Bradley. Enjoyed it. The Art of Living by Epictetus and Sharon Labell. Good stuff. Listened to Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer Finally got around to this one. Was better than I expected. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just finished Lincoln's Lieutenants. Can't remember the author and knee replacement prevent me from looking. It's a wonder that the Union won due to jealousies and incompetence. Same for the Confederacy. If you want book at a bargain price, try this website: www.thriftbooks.com. Have a good selection of hunting books if in stock. Capstick's books are in demand so it might be months before they get a copy.
