A couple of weeks ago I made a thread about your top DIY OTC tags. Now I'm asking what big game lotteries do you enter into?

Name the state and species that you draw for. If you want, name the unit as well.

For me, as of right now:

Kentucky - Bull or Cow tag.

Why would disclose what lotteries I participate in? I don't think its in my best interest to encourage others to play. :p I do have the realization that me ever winning one of these is slim to none. At least I know the money is going towards a good cause!

Oh I dont know, maybe because you're a nice guy? :poke:

Just thought some people could help out myself and other hunters that don't have a clue about the draw system.

    KY- Bull Archery Tag
    GA- Alligator
    AZ- Sheep, Deer, Elk
UT- Sheep, Moose, Elk, Deer, Mtn Goat
    CO- Sheep, Deer
    WY- Elk, Deer
AK- POW Black Bear, Various Moose Units

Starting next year I plan to add:
    NV- Sheep, Elk, Deer
    NM- Sheep
    ID- Moose
    MT- Sheep, Moose

I approached this as a long term goal thing. I want to draw a shiras moose and sheep tag eventually somewhere... I added elk and deer in any state that requires purchase of a license first to help distribute the cost a little better. Ill build points until I have enough to draw the best unit, hunt that species/state once and not build points again. WY I hope to cash both out in 2-3 years and quit playing there. I won't be buying Mtn Goat points anywhere anymore cause I plan to move to Alaska where I can hunt them OTC.
