What batteries do you use? I still use Alkaline batteries as the Lithium may last longer but I'm not sure if they last longer enough to make up for their high cost. Now if I was running a camera for a long time without visiting it to pull the card and needed several months at a time or in really cold weather I would use the lithiums in a heat beat. As it stands, I'm mostly using Rayovac Alkaline and they seem to give a pretty long life at a good cost. I am curious what you use and why. Thanks.
I use the Rayovac for D's and C's, but you can never go wrong with Energizer or Duracell. For my Primos Ultra Blackout I use the AA lithium batteries. They've been in there for well over six months and still show 99%.
Buy yourself some rechargeables and you'll wonder why you didn't switch a long time ago. I switched over about a year and a half ago and it's the smartest thing I ever did. Just ordered some more today. If you're dead set on sticking with non-rechargeables, go with lithiums. I've got a set going on 1 year in a Bushnell Trophycam and it's been out the whole time. But the best value is rechargeables. Blessings........Pastorjim
What kind of rechargeables did you get? I bought an energizer kit about 2 years ago because my son had a ton of toys, and I was going through batteries so fast I couldn't keep up. Well, the energizers were really disappointing. They didn't last long at all, seemed to have lower power, and didn't seem like they were made well. I'd like to go back to rechargeable, but need something that can last a few months on a charge because I don't get to my land very often.
Tenergys or Eneloops. Just make sure you get the higher capacity models. Anything above 2300mAH. Blessings........Pastorjim
I could be wrong, but I didn't think they make D's or C's in the lithium variety...at least I have never seen them in a store.
Usually the Kirkland brand batteries Walmart sells. My trophy can has been going on the same set since the beginning of summer and still doesn't have a low battery light on. Duracell would probably last longer, but these are cheaper.
You are correct, they do not make lithiums in D or C cell. But you can buy adaptors that allow you to use AA in any device. The adaptors are very cheap. They look like a C or D battery but they open up and you place the AA inside. Then you just put it in the device like the correct sized battery. Blessings.........Pastorjim
I was wondering this same thing because I have an MP6 on its way to me as we speak. Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk 2
