I have been shooting Bloodlines (Easton) since 2012. Some people say they break easy but the only ones I have had break were shot into the wood behind my backstop and one broke in the front leg bone of a doe in 2012 (leg was back when I shot, my fault). But the arrow still penetrated into the heart and she died 60 yards later. Last year I used the HeXX. Even with it being a really light finished arrow, I got a complete pass through on a doe. I was shooting 50 pounds and a good cut on contact fixed blade. I am a fan of these 6mm sized shafts.
I've got a Pro Defiant at 66#. This shot is with Carbon Express Maxima Blu RZ and 100-gr tips. Took down a nice hog with them yesterday.
I'm with Sota on this one. Love my PileDrivers w 125 grain G5 Montecs pushed by 63# DW at 27.5 inches draw length. Never had a problem with penetration in that combo.
I have been shooting Carbon Express Maxima Blues. I had two pass throughs on deer this year at 20 yards with my Matthews Halon at 50 pounds with Montec broadheads. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

I shoot Beman Bowhunter 340s. Shaft is cut to 28" then I add the insert and nock. Usually the factory supplied S nock and CB aluminum insert. Finally they are 4 fletched with Vane Tech 3 inch vanes on a right helical. They do a really nice job of bucking a cross wind.
I'm shooting the Gold Tip Pro-Hunter 400's right now and love them. I haven't found any issues yet with them.
I don't build my arrows for speed, but rather for penetration in trying to maximize kinetic energy and momentum. With that said I shoot Gold Tip Kinetics @ 27'' my total arrow weight is 495gr with 13% FOC. I have about 60gr stacked upfront and shoot a 100gr head. Great arrow, straight, durable, small diameter, and a heavy hitter!
