That made me laugh, but I’ve killed a lot of deer with Grim Reapers in the past.

Oh I know. It actually made me laugh.

Speaking of that, just about any broad head someone uses is a one and done if they get a good pass through here in the Ozarks.

These rocks aren’t as forgiving as John Lusk’s cinder blocks.

I am shooting Axis 5mm. They seem pretty tough. I shot one through my neighbors wooden fence and its still straight. Haha

I picked up 3 dozen Bloodsport Onyx .165 300 spine 11.7gpi this off season from CamoFire for $35/dozen. Discontinued, but you can't beat that price. Long as they perform well, I shouldn't need to buy anything else for a decade (with everything else I already got.)

TAW w/ the included 60gr half-serts is about 540gr w/ 100gr heads; which is exactly where I was with my other arrow setups. Haven't shot them yet other than one target setting but they are hitting right with everything else I am shooting.
(dirty secret - when you're pulling 65-70#; +/- 15gr between 500-600gr doesn't make a bit of difference in your POI at less than 50 yards.)

This year, I will probably shoot my last 8 Renegades in WI (one buck + 2 does state - hopefully not all at the same buck ) and try the Bloodsports out in MI (2 buck + 1 doe state.)

Effing hell, boys, it's only 3 weeks till the 'Sconnie opener.

I alternate between Axis and FMJ 5mm shafts with either AAE Stealth or TAC Driver vanes. I'm currently running FMJs with the standard aluminum HIT inserts and Iron Will impact collars. TAW is around 500 grains with a Spitfire XXX broadhead.
