I plan on using the FAA Tom Bomb this year for turkey, so i am looking at what arrow to back them with. I've been looking at the Carbon Express Piledriver 425. What setups are you guys using with Turkey Broads?
Im going to try a lighter setup. For me Im a new at turkey hunting with a bow. So Im going with something in the 8.9 grains or lighter.
For the tom bomb you will want a stiff shaft . Like the 7595 Gold Tip Hunter XT. I find 4 fletched feathers work best.
I am really new to bowhunting turkeys and was thinking that I could use my 400 gr. beamans with a 100gr. rage. After hearing yalls conversation Im not sure what to think. Any help?
I use these for my deer shaft, may have to get some full sizes and tinker with the fletching, thanks.
