I have a 29" draw Hoyt using Hoyt's drop away rest. I am wanting to putchase arrows but what length do I, Should I get? I know it should be 1" past the rest at full draw? Thank you!

You need to go to a proshop and have them measure you for your arrow length. Every bow will require different length arrows, even and arrow rest can make a difference. I typically like mine cut flush with the front of the riser

Gold Tips are a good choice for general shooting, hunting. If you want to get crazy with it, start looking into arrow weight, spine, FOC etc etc etc.

As for you know for sure what your Draw Length is, there is no reason for you to get arrows cut down. I concur that you need to go to a pro shop and get sized for your draw length. Then you can get the proper arrows for fit to your broadheads of choice.

    Hope this Helps...

IMO - the most popular arrow length I see is about an 1" longer arrow than your draw length. But as Backcountry mentions - it can vary depending on your bow, rest, broad-head choice, etc.
