With all the bad stuff going on with mine and my wife's families and losing my best hunting partner ( Tyler ) for the year so he can concentrate on college... I am not sure what my goals really are for bow hunting this year. I do know I am really looking forward to summer scouting with my daughter Britney. I will just wait and see what happen from there.

Otherwise... shoot bow a lot this summer.

My one and only goal this season is that my son kills his first deer.

I want to shoot my first ever bull...I won't even be picky on score. I also want to shoot a 150+ buck and 5 or more doe. I would love to be able to shoot two 150+ bucks here in Missouri. What am I doing to achieve this? We have put in more food plots and have planted over 15000 trees. Added 40 acres of NWSG. Also, from lessons learned over the previous years I believe I've finally figured out where I need to be at certain times of the season and also where I want to stay out of during certain parts of the season. I used a climber for the first time last year and love the mobility of it and I think it will greatly help my chances this fall.

My son got his first deer last year and it was absolutely one of my proudest moments of my life. Son #2 is coming up in 2010.

    - Hunt as much as possible
    - Hunt and learn some new areas/proprieties
    - Shoot a mature buck - preferably my biggest to date
    - Make a good clean shot on every animal I release on
    - Make it out antelope hunting - it's been a couple of years since I've been out

That's all I got so far

I just wanna send one through a mountable buck. I've been trying for 10 years and it hasn't yet come together. My fireplace is too normal looking. I have 4 8-points and a 9-point, but all of them were a little short of the taxidermist.

All I want is a week off in November. Just one week. One week to turn Shed Season '09 into a big buck. I've got more than a pocketfull of great stand sites, all I need is the time to sit them.
