I'm throwing together a smoked brisket grilled cheese tomorrow, thick sourdough, sharp cheddar, pickled red onions, and that brisket I slow-cooked for 12 hours last weekend. Gonna crisp it in cast iron with garlic butter. Might die happy after that.

Tomorrow night fresh asparagus with wild rice mushrooms pearl onions, carrots with feta cheese and a couple grilled halibut steaks I found in the freezer.

My wife asked if I wanted to go out for dinner for my birthday, hell no I can cook better.

Brining a chicken and making country ribs for fathers day dinner. Trying to decide if I want to make fresh cut fries or not or hit the easy button.

Happy Fathers day! I picked up a new gravity fed charcoal smoker. Probably do some pork spareribs.

Wife found a recipe for tortellini and sausage soup. This is for tonight. Too much time between lunch and dinner.
