    Anyone know what these are? My wife photographed them while we were out checking cams today. I thought they might be guineas but I'm not sure.

    Annoying and you can't get rid of them. Someone dropped three off at our house last year and they are still here. I am surprised they haven't been picked off by a yote or fox.

    I've heard guineas are incredibly bad a** and will actually ward off yotes and foxes. I know of some folks around here that keep them around their chicken coops for that reason.

    they can be annoying but they are good watch dogs and are awesome at keeping the tick population in check. We had a flock of about 40 in AR and we could lay in our front yard and never get a tick. Spend 5 min in the pasture and you would have about 50 ticks.

    Guinea hens. They are fast as heck, but it doesn't take much to kill them. They do keep ticks down. I don't see them as much as I use to anymore.
