a couple of weeks ago during the IL 2nd gun season I shot at a monster buck that I've been hunting all bow season. to my lack of better judgement, he looked to be in range. I missed they brute and he vanished into the thick stuff again. earlier this bow season I had an encounter with him from a distance sitting in a stand that I have several nice pics of this beast walking in front of, however, I never got him to walk in front of me during any sit's.

The evening I shot at him, I had decided to sit in the front of the woods as aposed to sitting in my stand at the end of the woods. lord behold he came walking out of the thick woods and I missed.

My question is do you think theres any possiblity that he may still be in the thick woods? I've seen him walk in on the north end of the property and now walking out at the north west end of the property. My thoughts are to hunt between the two areas and hope for the best? any suggestions.
