Water, apples, and some coffee. I'll keep a few sandwiches and chips at the truck for a little tailgate lunch.

MRE's without all the excess, just the main, dessert and crackers. Clif bars. Grizzly mint dip, water, apples, some kind of hard candies.

I boil water in the AM and throw it in my extra thermos and toss two hotdogs in there to steam during the day. then I just toss two buns in my bag with ketchup packets and by 11am/12pm they're great eating and easy to do!

that's always a must have for my all day sits

Lots of small snacks. Mainly to break up the day if nothing is happening. Thermos of coffee to warm up on cold mornings. Couple water bottles. Cheese crackers, fruit gummy snacks, jerky, energy bars. Anything else I grab last minute. Usually eat a good breakfast and take care of other business before going out. I’ll come out if I need to do my business. Hasn’t been a problem. Usually eat a big meal at night and good to go.

I’m going to have to try the thermos for some new ideas like the soup or hot dogs. Great ideas. I always use jet boil out west hunting all day. Warm food really changes your mood on a cold day. Love sitting all day and experiencing what wildlife experience everyday. How important that sun is to come out and warm you up on freezing mornings.

I also like to bring oatmeal in a thermos with me. Only on the days where it’s bone chilling cold, and the wind finds a way to chill you to the core. It’s a good pick me up to help keep my mind in the game.

Fellas, add this to your pregame arsenal. I started trying this coffee and two cups will wake you up, quick! And it serves a second purpose....within an hour of drinking you will need to use the bathroom. No more worrying about having to use the bathroom on a long hunt as that will have already happened pre sunrise. LOL

I’ve had bucks walk right under my stand 5 minutes after taking a leak. Never cared about peeing out of the tree since then
