I wish I had to think about what to eat while sitting all day. ******* work! Nothing beats a PB&J (grape) and enough coffee to last all day.

    Glad you all posted this.

Appears rut is starting already as my uncle (hunting his place) has seen quite a bit of activity and recommends an all day sit with the place he has me. I've never done one, so I was interested in seeing this post. Are you all afraid of making noise opening the packages?

Take anything out of packages that make noise at home and put them in something that doesn't make noise.

The norm for me is pretty simple.

Drink a large coffee and a couple donuts on the drive to stand, occassionally hit McDonalds.

On stand I take a Gatorade, snack crackers, a snickers bar and a handfull of atomic fireballs to fdnd off thirst and well, atomic fireballs just plain rock.

If it doesn't fit in a pocket it stays in the truck, i pack light because I never know when I am going to switch stands. Some days I may switch stamd 4-5 times

I've actually tossed the idea of making a few cloth bags for some goodies...maybe not a bad idea.

Why increase any chance of having to take a leak?
I know some will say deer will investigate smell but id still have move more, be unprepared should a deer come by and not to mention have to pull it out when its literally freezing out

Apples, some pre-unwrapped candy bars. I am not a big lunch eater anytime. I also am not sitting from sunrise to sunset. I eat a healthy breakfast, wait to make sure I have taken the proper dumps. Don't want to feel the need to pinch a loaf when up 20'.

Rifle season is a different story. In the box stand I make sure I have some good soup ready to heat up on the gas burner.

No way I could do an all day sit, dark to dark, without something to drink. I do way too many back to back all dayers and I had a cramp one year in my hamstring I thought I was going to have to slide down the ladder stand rails. I had no room to stand and get a good stretch on it. Hydration comes before food for me. I'm too old to deal with cramps

I've had deer sgow up while I was taking a leak, had them right at the base of my tree smelling leaves on the bushes below. That was last year. Had two mature does and a fawn early Novemeber at the base of my tree. Not a care in the world.
