My "opener" will be chasing elk friday evening upon landing in Idaho Sept 18th. About my only goal is arriving safely with all my gear in tact. After that it'll be whatever happens.

I will hunt in the afternoon. I will hang a stand to kill something. More than likely I will sit in a tight spot somewhere between a bedding area and the food source(acorns). In years past I was "just happy to be hunting" on opening day and some other days of the year. In the past couple of years I have become much more aggressive and try to hunt from a stand to kill something every single time I hunt.

I will be hunting both Ohio and Indiana's opening days, as well as both states throughout the whole season. ( I live basically on the state line).. In Ohio, at my grandpa's little piece of land in SW Ohio, and in Indiana, my family's farm in SE Indiana.

    Goals:

    -Have fun.

-Put a doe or two in the freezer early

Hopefully I'll be with my son with a bunch of Turkeys surrounding us and he sends an Arrow thru one, followed by myself doing the same!

August 20th Sitka blacktails. The plan as it stands now is to pack my girlfriend's first big game animal out on day 1 and then start hunting for myself on day 2 of our 6 day hunt.

G/F Rob? Do I need to make another spot in the '10 elk camp (I've got some stuff coming your way-by the way)? Hey, and for the record, pay no attention to that "semi hardcore" stuff under your avatar. Dude, you are balls to the wall!

    August 15th for me....Pronghorn...Colorado (OTC)
My goal is to arrow a good male representation of the species...

    What game- Black Bear

Goals?- I'm always trying for a P&Y Bear but my biggest goal this year bear hunting will be trying to get a bear kill on film. I'll be doing the filming myself.
