What apps are must have? Not only hunting related but just things in general.

I have the tapa talk already and various free ones like Pandora, Facebook, Soundhound, etc. But what am I missing?

I have not really found a great weather application that either sucks or takes forever to load. Currently I'm using weatherunderground for weather and radarnow for radar.

For the tech Geeks, I have the Mesmerize on US Cellular.

    Angry Birds. :nana:

I don't have many Apps. I mainly use my smart phone for web browsing. If you're into social media then a program like Tweet Caster or Hoot Suite is cool, because it links your Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Just off the top of my head the only apps I can think of that I use are How to Tie a Tie, The Weather Channel, a Compass, and Droid light (which is basically a flash light). Of course, I do use Facebook, Pandora, Twitter, YouTube, etc. But I don't consider those apps because they came with the phone.

My Tracks is a super cool gps based app. It has unlimited potential and can be a major help when shed hunting, marking sign or stands, marking deer trails or following blood trails. I will probably download that one again when hunting season creeps close. I am on my 3rd Droid now in less than a year so I really can't remember what Apps I had on my older phone that were worth mentioning. :bash:

I am actually pretty curious to hear some responses hear. I want to make sure I utilize some of my phone's potential, but I am just too lazy to spend time looking for apps.

There is one called the "advaced task killer". What is basically does is turn off all unnecessary programs when you turn on your phone. It saves on the battery, since all those programs don't need to be running all the time.

If you fish and need a gps with lake map contours, Navionics is a must. It costs $15 and is the only app I have ever paid for but it's well worth the price. A similiar setup on your fish finder is going to be in the hundreds.

    X2, that's a good one.

Google Voice, Slacker (streaming radio that Pandora wants to be:D), Realtor.com app (I check real estate a lot). Photobucket (automatically upload photos to your PB account from your phone for posting online). As was mentioned, MyTracks is very cool as well.

As far as a good browser goes, I have found Dolphin Browser to be my favorite.

Also check out Handcent if you text a lot.

Favorite animal calls. You can even select the sound as a ringtone.

Pandora is a great one too, I use it to work out. Basically you search a specific band or song and it will create a playlist of songs similar to that genre. I recently found out it's more than just music, there's comedy too. I've created a jeff foxworthy channel for when I'm running. I'm sure I must look like a tard running down the road sometimes while laughing...:)
