At 7:05 this morning i had a 6 point walk within 15 yards of my tree never knew i was there but i couldnt take the shoot because the second week of the season i shot a spike that i thought was a doe. Man i wish i had my buck tag still. At 7:30 I had a doe run 25 yards from my stand and stop she looked behind her and what do you think it was... Another buck this time it was a nice 8. He stoped at 30 yards befor she ran off again. At about 8 i heard something behind me comeing down the hill i turned to see what it was and it was a big old black bear(only if i would have bought that bear stamp my dad said would be a waist) he stoped at 27 yards then walked to 24 yards. He stayed around for about 15 mins untill a guy on a 4 wheeler decided that he wanted to cut firewood.

That's really cool. I went to one of my favorite "doe" spots this AM......and saw (for the 2nd time in a row....as I've only hunted this spot 2X, this year)......you guesses it......4 bucks - 0 does.

It is truly a magical time to be in a tree, right now. Get back out there!
