The kids brought my granddaughter down and after she played in the wading pool for over an hour, we sat down to a family meal of stuffed chicken breasts, grilled corn on the cob, asparagus, roasted garlic, cucumber salad, and homemade mac n' cheese. The kids then took the boat out to do a little fishing and grandma and I had some private play time with the granddaughter. Now, she's asleep on my lap, the wife is asleep on the sofa and I am contently sitting here watching papa's baby doll peacefully sleep. Could not have wished for a better holiday.

Thanks all. As the kids were getting ready to leave, my granddaughter had a death grip on my neck and was telling her parents bye-bye. Then, as I put her in her car seat she threw a fit because she did not want to go. What a great day! Now, I'm beat and going to go take a nap! lol
