Yesterday I shed hunted hard for 8 hours with nothing to show for. Today I was going back out and my fiance Megan was joining me for her first shed hunt. I was exicted to be hitting the woods together. We were searching public land and after about an hour we were looking along a wooded creek bank and I walked up on this. A 5 point shed that scored 64 6/8's!!! The tree was freshly rubbed and I'm guessing he dropped it at least 2 days ago. Megan was thrilled too and I am ready to hit the woods again with her!!! We looked hard for the other side but got rained out after another hour. I will always remember today and I am happy to have shared this find with her. Giving him a 16 inch spread, inside to inside, and doubling the other side it puts him over 140 inches as a main frame 8 pointer!!! Indiana...that is an awesome find. A 140 inch 8 point? Wow. I cannot find a shed for the life of me, I suck.
Virginia... After yesterday I was a little depressed, but this definately lifted the spirits a little bit. I didn't even know that 140 inch 8 points walked around these parts of Indiana!!!
