This was the news story in 2008. Obama for president was a fund raising machine eclipsing McCain.

Now this out today about how Obama can't raise enough cash to even match Romney

    http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/08/01/obama-supporters-barraged-with-pleas-for-cash/

He is cash strapped. In June Obama spent more than he took in (nothing new for a liberal operating on other people’s money)

If you’re wondering why this drastic change in Obamas fund raising ability, the obvious answer is that in 2008, Obama was a novelty act and today, (after 3 1/2 years in office) people don’t care for him nor what he stands for. He is suffering from the reality that he is to blame for his lack of fund raising ability. Nobody wonders what it will be like to have him as president. We all know how its working out and people simply are not interested in funding more of his policies that weaken this nation.

The media was silent when Obama outspent McCain but will no doubt lament that Romney is outspending Obama. The American people don’t seem to be eager to fund this guy any more and its because they they didn’t get what they “Hoped” for and the “Change” has been negative.

I very much look forward to Obama being a one term president.

I hope you're right.... but I wouldn't go counting my chickens just yet. If the Republicans had someone really worthy... it would be a cinch. Romney is less than perfect. Admittedly, he's better than what we've got... but I'm not sure how much that will get him.
