hey guys, anyone have a pair of boots for under 150.00 that are waterproof and hold up well ....I was going to go the 17 inch rubber boot route as I have a creek I have to cross that is up to the top of my calves...but I don't know how durable the rubber boots these days are..i would hate to pay 100.00/130.00 for some quality boots and have them start cracking on me two weeks into season. any suggestions will be dually noted and taken under SERIOUS advisement...thanks guys

My mucks held up well last season and will wear them again this year. My feet never got wet.

I use the LaCrosse Men's 4Xburly 800G Hunting Boots and love them. Warm and extremely comfortable. I bought them from Cabelas last year on clearance and used them for turkey season this year. Think I paid $79.00 for them.

I have Muck's ArticPro for the cold weather. Warm and dry. My "average" weather boot is a simple Gander Mountain waterproof 400 gram insulation boot.

Muck boots are awesome. I have their Woody Max boot and swear by them. Very comfortable and dry feet, which is key!!

I'm just throwing it out there. Maybe get some milk house rubber boots. Sure they are not camo or pretty. But they will work on a budget. I do all my food plot work in them and they work great. In a pinch I would not hesistate to use a pair for hunting if I needed to.

goretex boots can be found on sale at good prices. Also invest in some gaiters.

I have Aeroheads and is my favorite boot or shoe I have ever owned. They are 1 year old and starting to show a little wear but I put lots and lots of miles in them. I would not be scared to walk 10 miles in them

I have a pair of LaCrosse Alpha burlys. Think this will be their 6th or 7th year?? It is about time for a new pair but I'd say I got my $$'s worth out of em :)

I wear xtra tuffs. I got mine when they were made in USA. And like they say, they are xtra tuff. I even use them in late season just wear good socks. Don't know how the quality is now I think they are made in China (go figure). But they are <$100.

early season - Lacrosse Grange ($69)

    late season - Red Head 800g Side-Zips ($140)

Odd how 2 weeks ago Muck was being bashed for supporting HSUS and a lot of people swore them off.
