I read this in our local paper! I thought it was ridiculous. An also found it funny how they said he was disrupting the educational process........if anythin makin a kid turn his shirt inside out would be more so then just lettin hm wear it.

Ridiculous, I'm glad he wore it the very next day back.

I don't care if he did "Almost cause a Riot" The teacher was out of line.

I agree the arrest thing was a little much, but I'm sure the kid made a heck of a lot more out of it than the school originally did. I'm sure with everything that's happened since with the new all over it and the dad on all over youtube he prolly was asked to remove or turn it inside out amd probably replied with some smart *** outbreak about 2nd amemdmemt rights and blah blah. So that was probably where everything went down hill. I, alomg with a bumch of friends was told to do same thing when I was in hs several times, we argued a little then laughed it off and turned it around, no big deal.

And yea I fully support the 2nd amendmemt and its good this kid was doin same but there's a time and place for everything. Every time I see some story or video that cops or whoever are wrongly infridging om somebodies 2nd amdment rights, you never see or here what led up to it all you see is some idiot yelling about they are right and the authority figure is wrong, and continue to argue and be resistent to amything until they emd up getting arrested. Wrongly or not with the political climate your not helpin anyone keel their rights, if anything your giving ammunition to the ones trying to take them away from rest of us. That's jus my opinion anyway, you can argue and yell all you want about your rights being infringed but if your the one making the most noise its usually bad attention more than good that you gonna draw.

Glad to see the younger kids still standing up for something. These days it seems they know nothing outside of cellphones and video games. I am glad to see that he wore the shirt back to school and others joined him and they had no further issues. Curious how this will end.

I cannot believe how weak we have become as a society where a kid wearing a shirt with a gun on it causes a problem.

I agree with this statement to an extent. He probably was being a little bit of a smartazz. But on the same token I agree with the kid because the shirt in no way violated the dress code of the school. I'm sure that this incident will cause this school and other schools to revise their dress codes. Which is sad IMO because there is nothing bad or wrong with this shirt or others like it.

The article I read said the kid stood on a bench in the lunch room and tried debating the 2nd amendment with the teacher causing the other kids to go crazy. This is why he was arrested which is still pretty ridiculous but he wasnt arrested solely for wearing the shirt. The kid had every right to stand up for himself but there are other ways to go about it than acting like an idiot. He could have simply refused and went to the principle and explained why he refused to do it. Instead he decided to make a scene and act out. Imo he should have been disciplined for how he acted but not arrested.
