I got ya. Cecil B. DeMille said, "Give me any two pages of the Bible and I'll give you a picture." This from a man that knew how to both make a hollywood full production that was entertaining as well as faithful to the biblical story. Whats sad about the circumstance you mention is that it is blasphemous to the actual story and for those that have not read the actual story or the bible...they will likely to come away from the movie with the idea that there are stone giants in the bible and Noah was a homicidal maniac. I think that's exactly what the producers and directors intend to happen, in as many instances as can happen. There is a much larger political agenda behind this crap and the motivation in why things are done the way they are. These movies are pushed by the evolutionists side of the debate with purpose, to make the biblical stories sound all that much out of reason or repulsive.
'Noah' Review: Brilliantly Sinister Anti-Christian Filmmaking After reading that I am not sure what the hell to think.
Watch or don't watch the film for Entertainment as it is a film made by man to entertain not instruct. One will not find accuracy beyond the written word and thus reading is required. When one gets to far away from Gods word speculation occurs and inaccuracy will present itself. With reading should come understanding, otherwise the wind will blow and off you go. Trust in the Lord....not the movie director.
Read this guy's review... I?m a Christian and I think ?Noah? deserves a four star review | The Matt Walsh Blog
All in all... a movie probably best skipped. There are so many great Bible stories that could be told... as written. I would love to see a movie... a real movie... about Jacob's family. There's no reason to mess with it... it has everything you'd find on Dallas or whatever.
Two pittbull's and one apple, nice mess that stuff got us all in to.......................................
Not exactly a Christian I guess, but we don't plan to see it. A movie based on the Bible that departs as much from the original story as this one is reported to, seems kind of stupid.
It is quite a departure from what is written. Quite honestly... it likely sprung from a recognition that faith based groups will attend "Bible" movies. From what I understand... the producer is not a man of faith.
