I went to a fellows house today to pick up a hunting blind. It turns out that the guy and his family run a dairy/beef operation along with a greenhouse/nursery as well as being a dealer for the hunting blinds. As I pulled into the driveway I started to take notice of his yard and garden. All I can say is wow..... stunning! Pics below Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
^^^ Yes it will. I look forward to spending some time with my son while we are putting it up. I'm really looking forward to hunting out of it with his son...... my grandson! Thanks
My wife gets Better Homes and Gardens magazine. I look at all those flowers, shrubs, etc. and picture a lot of work. I would rather use the time for hunting and fishing. JMHO.
Showed my wife the pictures she said a lot of those plants are annuals, lots of $ for one and done. Then she reminded me that I need to get the holes dug for the plants she took from the ranch.
Good to know I am not the only one who's wife turns something interesting into more work for me that I didn't ask for and don't care to do.
The blind is from 360 hunting blinds. This model is the shooting house. It will be placed on an elevated platform that my son and I built. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
I had to bring home a ton of wall block today before u could get out to hunt. Not kinding. An actual ton well sbout 2200 pounds. That is about a third of what is needed. Im either going to look Atlas when done or be dead.
I don't understand what you're talking about. BTW, what is wall block? Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
The blind is very sturdy and well built. It weighs 650 lbs and should be able to handle snow loads and high winds. I will be securing it to the platform as well. I got the floor section in place on the platform yesterday by myself but will be getting some help for the rest of the install on Wednesday. My tractor with pallet forks only reaches about 9' high. So, I secured a stack of pallets together with a heavy duty ratchet strap then place the pieces of the blind on top of the pallets then raise them up to the platform. The platform is 12' high. At my age I'm lucky that I have the reflexes of a cat. In case of a fall I will still land on my feet!
