Hey guys I went good ole whitetail hunting earlier and this slipped up on me at 19 steps with a few others. Angled towards me and the toxic pierced right through him. Ran about 15 yards and flopped. The sausage tastes great too.

Nice get. Careful with those BH. Buddy shot a nice boar hog with one using his Xbow and it jumped up and ran away. No penetration.

Congrats! Is that a javelina or a hog?

I have had no problems with penetration at all. Went right thru the shoulder bone and stuck in the mud on the other side. I am originally from Florida and we have some hogs down there that have some serious shields and a .270 slug gets stuck too. It is what it is. Most of the time I would rather shoot those suckers in the head anyways. It looked more like a Russian than anything else sniper but it wasn't no javelina.

Nice, but I'm glad we don't have them running around my hunting area. They can really mess up the land and run the deer out of the area.

My wife shot one with a .243. He dropped and we started to celebrate. About 10 seconds later, he popped up and took off running. We just looked at each other and said WTF. Found him about 70 yards later. Good eats.
