Well, tonight pretty much sucked...I was in the stand for about an hour and a fawn walked by, and right behind her was a buck. Nothing special, but plenty good enough for me, as I have yet to get my first deer with a bow. As he walked by at 19 yards, I drew back. I got just about to where my bow broke over the draw cycle and hit the let-off point, and BAM, my arrow took off in to the trees....my freakin' D-loop broke...I was just about ready to throw my bow out of the tree.... Oh well, I guess I'll try again next year.... I guess I'll go fill my tag this next week, since out firearms antlerless season starts tomorrow...
