Well it took a while, but here goes....

    We saw this buck out in the middle of the day hanging tree stands a few weeks ago, but didn't have any trail cam pics of him until this past weekend. There are plenty of smaller bucks running around. We got him for about 20 minutes on one of our mineral plots. He's definitely the stud of the property, just hope he walks by my stand at some point. :fro:

    Since he hasn't shown himself before I'd say you're in his out circles, not core area but definitely where he comes through...I'd be cross checking what the weather was like that day and the lunar phase and try to be around where you feel he came from come the same time frame in October.

    That's a great idea about the weather and lunar phase in relation to our sightings and opening of the bow season. Our lease is a pass through from protected land to the corn on our property. I'm hoping this is our core area because we saw him in person during the day and have both nighttime and daytime pics of him at that spot. Fortunately in MD, we open in less than 2 weeks! I hope he doesn't wait until October to show again. I will definitely take your advice though. Thanks.
