Ordered my new rest tonight. NAP Apache. You guys sold me on it..... Looking forward to it. I have a feeling I am going to love it. Can't wait to her her mounted and tuned.
I'm close to joining too. For you guys that have them, how would you rate this rest when used for spot and stalk like elk and mule deer around the mountains. My only concern would be if it allows my arrow to bounce around too much while staling when compared to a ripcord or QAD? If I was just hunting whitetails, It would be on already.
does it have something on the top to keep the arrow "enclosed"???? i really like this feature on some of the drop aways
just looked it up on the "shop" tag.... yeah says total containment. you'll like that. post a pic when you got it set up. gonna put any moleskin on it?
The Apache has a foam lining around the inside of the "cage" and the launcher arm is covered with a felt pad from the factory. No additional silencing needed. Here's a link to the review I did last year - http://www.bowhunting.com/blog/post/NAP-Apache-Dropaway-Arrow-Rest-Review.aspx
Isiah bro I will not steer you wrong, this is one dang good rest and for the price you can't go wrong. Go Pack Go! T
